Art Worx Personal
Fitness Training
Ever wonder how the
bodies of entertainers in Hollywood always look so good? It's no secret
that almost all the entertainers use Personal Fitness Trainers to help
their bodies look as sexy as possible. So if you want a body like Adonis
or A Diva, you need Art Worx Personal Fitness Training, WELCOME! YOU ARE SERIOUS, then I can help you! Utilizing the most advanced
exercise techniques in the fitness field, the Art Worx Personal Fitness Training
System can unlock your potential to improve how your
body looks & improve your overall health.
Why does one need a Personal
Fitness Trainer? The primary objective of Personal Fitness Training is to
motivate
individuals to initiate a fitness program by using the services & equipment provided by
Art Worx.
Personal Fitness
Trainers have a
sincere desire to benefit one's community by committing to the fitness
lifestyle. The most important goal of the Personal Fitness Trainer is
to motivate others to lead a healthy lifestyle and to teach safe and effective
techniques. Personal Fitness Trainers adhere to a strict code of conduct to
ensure the highest degree of competence and ethical behavior and
Personal Fitness Trainers focus on specialized education in the disciplines of anatomy,
physiology, exercise science, nutrition,
kinesiology ( the study of human movement ), and other related
sciences. Personal Fitness Trainers ensure that you are performing the exercise the
" correct way " so that you can receive the maximum
benefits. The " correct way " can be defined as the proper
form throughout the duration of the exercise, that your are breathing
properly, focusing on target areas, & most importantly,
that the exercises are being performed in a safe way. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), The Center
For Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), The American
Heart Association, and The National Institute of Health (NIH)
all agree that regular exercise is essential for preventing injuries, combating
diseases, as well as raising self-esteem.
Please be sure to get
a complete physical examination & get medical clearance before starting any
exercise program. Art Worx provides a
Personal Wellness Form as a way of introducing yourself and listing
your fitness
goals. Art Worx also provides a Medical
Clearance Form & a Consent Form
for your Doctor to view & approve. When you become a
Art Worx
client you will be tested for basic
muscular endurance and cardiovascular health. The results will be compared to an
Standardized Endurance Chart.
As a client you will also receive a Art Worx Fitness
Log which contains the Art Worx
Training Principles, guidelines for the
training exercises, Safety
Guidelines, general & specific safety tips to ensure
that the exercises are performed correctly & safely. The Art
Worx
Fitness
Log also contains a
Body Fat % Chart which displays the healthy weight
ranges according to the height of the individual, a Food Guide Pyramid which
offers nutritional suggestion for a healthy lifestyle, & a Weekly Calorie
Intake Log so the client can document the number of calories they consume for
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The Art Worx
Fitness
Log also contains Weight
Training Anatomy Charts which offers the weight training exercise suggestion for
a client's target areas, as well as a Weight Training Log which outlines &
documents weight training exercises, the amount of weight used, numbers of
repetitions performed, as well as the number of sets completed per exercise
session.
After reviewing your "
Personal
Wellness Form " a training program can be structured to meet your
needs.
The Art Worx Training
Principles are used as a foundation for
the Art Worx 3 Phase Personal Fitness Training System,
the
Art Worx Cardio Body Sculpting System & the
Art Worx
Cardio Weight Lifting Regiment are guidelines for
implementing the Art Worx Training Methods.
The first of these principles is "Specific Adaptations to Imposed Demands " or
the S.A.I.D. principal, which in simple terms means " Use it or Lose
it ". Once you begin the exercise program your body will begin to
" adapt " to the " imposed demands
" that you have placed on it by performing the exercises in the training
program.
The second training principle
that will be implemented will be the " Gradual Progressive
Overload " or the G.P.O. principal which in simple terms
means " Start slow and build ". If a person hasn't been
involved in an exercise program, the new " imposed demands "
placed on your body may be vulnerable to the effects of over training or even
injury. This is why a personal fitness trainer must ensure that a client start off
slow
and allow your muscles to " adapt " to the "
imposed demands ". Gradually, as you continue to " progress
" with the exercise program the ability for your muscles to recover from
stress will increase. For example, if you are a beginner, it is
suggested that you start performing your exercise program 3 times per week.
As your muscle recovery time decreases, your muscle endurance increases and your
stamina increases, you will begin to perform the exercise program 4 - 5 times a
week. Your body gradually progresses to endure the "overload
" or exercise program. This progress will prepare your body
to undergo the next training principle, "Frequency Intensity Time
Type " or the F.I.T.T. principle.
The F.I.T.T.
principle is the " Exercise Prescription " :
-
Frequency -
number of sessions / week
-
Intensity - % of
RM or HRmax ( Maximum Heart Rate )
-
Time - duration (
sets & repetitions per minute or per session )
-
Type - type of
exercise ( free weights, resistance machines, cardiovasculaur exercises )
Unless you are going to meet with me 7 Days a week all year long ( possible
but not likely ), you want to continue an exercise regiment at a Fitness
Facility. I strongly suggest attending Group Classes such as a Cycle / Spin
Classes or a Cardio Kickboxing Class. The F.I.T.T. Principle or
Exercise Prescription outlines your Weekly Fitness Activities, your
Art Work Fitness Training Log will help you to document those
activities, documenting your progress. Using these Art Worx Body Scuplting
/ Cardio Weight Training Exercise Techniques & making the
necessary changes in your diet ( using the The Food Guide
Pyramid in your Art Worx Fitness Log ) will ensure improvements in your
overall health and fitness, Results Guaranteed!! Art Worx will also email
newsletters from the International Fitness Professionals Association (
IFPA ), The Center For Disease & Control ( CDC ), Web MD, The American Heart
Association, The Food & Drug Administration & other organizations that
dispense information in the Health, Fitness, & Nutrition fields
making your training experience educational as well as physical.
